• Message centre provides better communication between shifts and over the weekend
• Better visibility of unsigned orders and results
• Appointments for patients can be seen in PowerChart avoiding conflicts
• Less phone calls with diagnostic departments

How will the eMR improve safety?

• No lost results
• Decision support will reduce duplicate orders
• Realtime patient information will improve decision making
